Cisco EoL announcement for Small Business Pro Portfolio
Cisco have announced the end-of-sale and end-of-life dates for the Cisco Unified Communications 320W for Small Business (UC320W), UC540, UC560 and BE3000. This move constitutes the complete Cisco Small Business Pro range of UC appliances. which means that the Cisco UC range starts with the BE6000 and by Cisco's own admission, struggles to be competitive below 50 seats.
Cisco have long seen hosted telephony as the key to providing solutions for the sub-20 user space and have produced a number of white papers and framework documents how best to deploy this under their Hosted Small Business umbrella.
