Cisco® HSB (Hosted Small Business) Communications is a complete customer premises equipment (CPE) solution that works smoothly with major third-party call-control platforms (such as iVoxx), enabling service providers to deliver hosted services to small businesses. Cisco® HSB essentially breaks Cloud Communications into three core components; Call-Control Platform, IP Connectivity and LAN Infrastructure.

LAN Infrastructure

The LAN (or Local Area Network) is often overlooked as component when deploying Hosted Telephony but it is still a critical part of the solution. You could have the best connectivity and call-control available but if your LAN cannot support QOS then the user experience will be poor. HSB takes this headache away as LAN equipment has been designed to support the iVox hosted telephony solution.
